About Judge Cecil

 A little about me... 

I moved to Sacramento in 1972 from Orange County to attend law school.  After graduation, I worked in a variety of public and private positions until my appointment to the Sacramento Superior Court in 1989. 

During my years on the bench, I have served in almost every division, including family law, criminal and civil.  My years as a criminal trial judge motivated me to begin performing weddings – it gave me the opportunity to be with people who were happy!  I have been performing weddings for more than 15 years on a regular basis.

My wife and I have been married for over 30 years.  We have two grown children. Our home is filled with pets and we are sometime biking enthusiasts and (former) boaters.
